We are actively looking for talented scientists at all levels! Prospective lab members are welcome from all backgrounds and should share an interest in using multidisciplinary science to unravel molecular mechanisms. See our research page for a slightly more detailed description, and read the papers in the publications section for far too much information.
Postdoctoral candidates should send a cover letter, CV, and contact information for three letters of recommendation directly to Dr. O’Brien (eobrie26@jh.edu).
Graduate students interested in rotating in lab should directly contact Dr. O’Brien (eobrie26@jh.edu). All interested graduate students across the Hopkins campus should reach out, though the main graduate programs for our lab are the Biochemistry, Cellular, and Molecular Biology Graduate Program, the Program in Molecular Biophysics, and the XDBio Cross Disciplinary Graduate Program in Biomedical Sciences.
Undergraduate students from JHU and the Baltimore area are welcome to apply. Students should be open to a career in research. Please send CV, transcripts, and a description of why you’re interested in our lab to eobrie26@jh.edu.
